Coming from a troubled MacBook Pro Nvidia 8600M GT - let me say that I was very skeptical to buy another Apple laptop with an nVidia chip in it.
However, a weekend, I decided to visit the Apple Store near you and check the models just released. My decision was mainly influenced by lower prices and greater autonomy.
After some discussion on the purchase of the old model for the same price or get the latest version, we opted for the latter half of the order of $ 1999 model with 2 GPU. As usual, I received a very good resale price for my old MacBook Pro as had AppleCare.
This generation is an improvement over around the last generation, unless you happen to use ExpressCard 15 "model that is. In our case we never used the ExpressCard after trying 's use an eSATA card that works very well. And we figure we have some SD cards can easily use.
